Give-Aways, Awesome Resources & Freebies

This page is where I will post useful freebies I have come across, or give-aways I am currently running. I will also post resources I have found particularly helpful. Check back here regularly as I hope to be able to update this page often.

Current Give-Away:

Ends October 4, 2013 at 10pm CST- Apologia Science Exploring Creation 3 books

Goal setting-

279 Days to Overnight Success– I actually did a review of this e-book. Chris Guillebeau wrote this helpful resource to explain how he managed to make his blog a hit. (You can see my review under the books tab). No matter what your goals are, you can find some great tips on how to make them happen.

While you are checking out Overnight Success, you may want to also take a look at A Brief Guide to World Domination which is also a resource from Chris Guillebeau. Both of these are free resources, and well worth the read.

Wrecked– When a broken world slams into your comfortable life. This is a book from Jeff Goins that really makes you think about what your priorities are. This book is not free, but it is reasonably priced, and well worth the money spent.

Wisdom Meets Passion– I recently wrote a review for this book. If you would like to see my review, check it out here. This is a great resource for anyone who wants to re-evaluate their life goals. Dan Miller and his son Jared Angaza ask some very thought provoking questions, and if you are really answering these questions as you go along you will be forced to think about what you want to do in your life. This is not a free resource, but I think it is worth the money.

Homeschooling Resources-

Free Homeschool Deals– This site is updated regularly with free resources. You can find free Kindle books, fun worksheets, booklets, checklists, etc. This is a great resource for any homeschooling family.

McGuffey Eclectic Readers– I found this site a little while back, and realized I have not shared it yet :(. This site has free downloads of the McGuffey Eclectic Readers 1-6 as well as a primer and spelling book. The site itself is for a reading program offered, but there is no need to join this program to get the readers.

Book Resources:

Story Cartel – I just recently stumbled across this website. If you are interested in reviewing books, this site offers free downloads of books for review on Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

Booksneeze – This is another resource for books to review. This site asks for a review on your blog as well as one of the major book stores, such as Amazon.
